Count.It challengers hit the road!
Many Count. It groups run challenges in which participants make a real world "journey," like climbing Mt. Everest; walking from one office location to another; or trekking across the country. This can be a fabulous way to give everyone a compelling movement goal.

The main Count. It user interface, which features a start and a finish, has always been a natural fit for these challenges. However, until THIS WEEK, our distance challenges had some limitations. First, groups could not easily add their own destinations and distances, and, second, the distances were displayed in points. Grumble, grumble. Eye roll.
Well, that painful period is no over!
On Monday, we launched a new and much more flexible UI for distance challenge creation and display!
Any group can now create any "journey" challenge they like, complete with familiar mile markers and destination signs, and soon cool, custom background images 🌅.
As always, the challenge "path" is interactive and zoomable, and equally compelling for 10 people as it is for 10,000. Users can tap on each other to check out a fellow traveler's progress and react to their comments or even posted images.
How easy are these challenges to create? About the same as creating a ride on your Uber app!

Of course, if you ask people to walk a long way, it's best to provide some incentive. Good news: Admins can create rewards to be earned on arrival. Make it to Paris, earn a bottle of fine red wine!
We're thrilled about this update and eager to see where our groups will go next, both literally and metaphorically!
